Strategic Purpose

What if you could change the way you "did" church? The primary expression for church is the Sunday worship experience. What if our primary purpose moved from experience to response? Is it possible to change the way we think, dream and operate as christian communities? Is it possible to examine and possibly rebuild the broken places of the American Church Experience? I wear love exists to be a voice for a new breed of communal leaders and to shift the way church is "done".

-to move from build it and they will come to build them and they will go.
-to move from entertainment to expression.
-to move from inside buildings to inside culture.
-to move from operating out of convenience to covenant.
-to move from spectator to participator.
-to move from stage forward to face to face.
-to move from model to organic.

our motivation:

Our lives are an expression of justice, love and grace.
Community must be intentional.
Oneness in ministry unity in movement.
For the city.

love is the solution.
change will happen when one engages in simple acts of compassion in face to face encounters.
the process must be organic in nature, not manipulated or fake.
this gospel narrative was intended for participators not spectators.
ministry is an act of covenant and is not always convenient.
in building people over buildings.
this gospel narrative must be lived out in the cultural centers of our city.
all people are created equal and have been endowed with value by their Creator.
when future generations remember us it will not to be for thatrical advancement or new styles of music, but rather by the compassion we lived and hope we gave.

Solutions as ideas or emotions with out our actions are powerless. love becomes real when it is set into action and is the real solution to real needs. when we unite together as one voice and one force in action we will transform the city in which we live.
